Some area communities have election races and/or ballot questions
Springfield Election Commissioner Gladys Oyola organizes containers to be used at polling places prior to the preliminary election in Springfield.BOSTON – Secretary of State William F. Galvin is reminding voters that polling hours vary around the state on Tuesday, Election Day.
The polling hours in the region are as follows:
Springfield, Holyoke, Northampton, Easthampton, South Hadley -- 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Chicopee, Westfield -- 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Agawam, West Springfield -- 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“These communities will be choosing their political leaders and, in some cases, deciding local questions and tomorrow (Tuesday) is your opportunity to have your say in those choices,” Galvin said.
