WESTFIELD – Firefighters battled a brush fire behind Westwood Drive involving an estimated five to 10 acres Thursday afternoon.
The fire was reported at about 3 p.m..
A Fire Department spokesman reported no injuries and no immediate threat to homes in the neighborhood.
Westwood Drive is located off Western Avenue near Bates Road.
